You really can't get better than the Norfolk beaches. Spanning approximately 83 miles, the Norfolk coast goes from Snettisham to Hopton-on-Sea, and all the beaches vary hugely. These photos of Norfolk beaches sum up how beautifully stunning they are. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Norfolk has some very impressive stately homes dotted around the county. They range through varying era's and all are worthy of a visit. These photos of Norfolk stately homes just give you a tiny bit of an insight into how interesting they all are.
Norfolk is rich in heritage, and there are plenty of examples of incredible ruins, many of which were built in the Norman times. Most of these Norfolk ruins are still very impressive and make for wonderful photo opportunities!
With a whole host of nature reserves and parks to wander around, you are very fortunate to have a huge choice. There are varying RSPB nature reserves and Norfolk Wildlife Trust nature reserves which are all very well maintained and looked after as well as Hawk and Owl Trusts. There are also National Trust parks and reserves as well as independent parks and reserves. Too many to mention here, but hopefully these photos of Norfolk reserves and parks will give you some ideas.
Walking is a great past-time. It makes you feel good and at the same time you're taking some exercise. There is absolutely no shortage of walks in Norfolk, ranging from the National Trail of the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path to a whole array of circular walks and linear walks, all maintained by Norfolk Trails.
