Wonderful sunset over Hunstanton beach

Beautiful sunset from Hunstanton beach taken back in May 2016. I waited a long time for this amazing sunset and finally at 20.40 it set over the calm sea at Hunstanton.

It was definitely worth the cold to capture this wonderful sunset over the Norfolk sea.

I love this photo. I've been trying for years to get over to Hunstanton to catch a sunset but during the summer months it's usually too late for me to be over there as I live in mid Norfolk!

Norfolk is an extraordinary county in that it is the only place where you are on the east side of the UK but get incredible sunsets, and it is well known for exactly this.

Other places to see the stunning sunsets are at at The White Horse, Brancaster Staithe which has amazing orange sunsets over the salt marshes, and Thornham harbour over the creek and the old coal shed.

Cromer Pier is also another brilliant place to catch a Norfolk sunset, and I love the photo that you've sent in of Cromer Pier in the distance from the Overstrand cliffs.
