Good Afternoon,
The miles of woodlands that are dotted around the Norfolk countryside are about to transform into a wonderful patchwork of reds, yellows and golds, the colours of which will be spectacular.
This is such a fantastic time to explore many of Norfolk's magnificent woodlands.
A few examples for you are:
-
Holt Country Park
with Hettieās tearoom and easy colour coded walks
- The quiet paths of the National Trust
Sheringham Park
The ancient mixed woodlands at Thetford Forest
-
Blickling Hall
and
Felbrigg Hall
woodlands are also some others to enjoy at this time of year
- Climb up to the top of the
Roman Camp
near Cromer to discover the Cromer Ridge and the woodlands and see the amazing views through the trees which will begin to drop their leaves.
Personally, I just love it when the sunlight filters through onto the orange leaves on a crisp morning walk - just stunning.
Don't forget your wellies and a flask of something warm in these upcoming autumn months!
Happy woodland adventures!
Best wishes,
Suzy
