Explore Felbrigg Hall: A 17th-Century Norfolk National Trust Treasure

Good Afternoon,

This week, I want to shine a spotlight on one of Norfolk's stately homes treasures. I was contacted by a reader (and please do contact me if you would like me to cover something you love) who encouraged me to bring this fantastic National Trust property to the fore; Felbrigg Hall.

Just a stone's throw from Cromer, this unassuming country squire's house is a fantastic blend of history, architecture, and natural beauty.

As you step into Felbrigg Hall, you'll be transported through time. Each room tells a story, from the fascinating Gothic-style library housing 5,000 original books to the intriguing slipper bath that will definitely leave you pondering bygone bathing habits! The knowledgeable National Trust volunteers are on hand to answer your questions and bring the hall's rich history to life.

But Felbrigg Hall isn't just about its interior. The grounds and parkland are an excellent place for taking long or short walks, and don't miss the beautiful walled garden with its brick dovecot, herbaceous borders and fruit trees.

You can explore the woods, discover the church with its unique box pews, and enjoy the lake with stunning views of the hall. It's an ideal way to spend a day immersed in Norfolk's rich history.

Felbrigg Hall has something for everyone. So why not make it your next weekend destination?
