Good Afternoon,
If you’re a cyclist, you may well have heard about The Rebellion Way. If not, you may want to by-pass this week’s newsletter!
The Rebellion Way is an exciting 232-mile circular cycling route through Norfolk which has absolutely captured many a cyclists heart over the last few years (thanks to cyclinguk.org who put the route in place).
Here's what one happy cyclist had to say about the trip:-
“A great trip around Norfolk with varied tracks and many interesting natural and historical sights along the way - forest, beaches, broads, grand manor houses, steam trains, castle ruins, Roman remains and many very pretty churches. Suzy organised everything brilliantly, finding us nice places to stay, always with somewhere safe to store the bikes and arranging for our luggage to be moved from place to place. ”
Named after Boudicca's rebellion against the Romans (a nod to our rich
Norfolk heritage!), this route offers a truly immersive experience of our beautiful county.
What makes The Rebellion Way so special is the incredible variety of scenery you'll encounter. One day you're cycling along peaceful country lanes through charming villages with ancient churches, the next you're following the stunning Norfolk coastline with its expansive beaches and big skies. The route also takes you through the magical Norfolk Broads National Park, where waterways teem with wildlife, and finally through the ancient Brecks with their distinctive landscape and forests.
