Good Afternoon,
Coastal views and incredible wildlife await you on this Holme Dunes walk! I've walked this path countless times and it never fails to inspire, especially now with this glorious June sunshine.
This walk offers flexible options - from a short stroll to the Wildlife Trust tea room, to a longer walk through the pine forest and on to the pretty flintstone village of Thornham.
Bring your binoculars! The saltmarshes are usually alive with fascinating birds such as redshanks, curlews and egrets.
If history is your thing, you’ll love the old wartime pillbox and the ancient peat beds that were once Norfolk's forests, and the site of where Seahenge was discovered in 1998.
With this beautiful sunny June weather, there's never been a better time to explore this little bit of Norfolk.
Come and explore the
Holme Dunes walk.
Best wishes,
Suzy
