Good Afternoon,
I love visiting Blickling Hall, it really is a spectacular National Trust stately home which exudes beauty, magnificence and grandeur. This is probably my favourite Norfolk stately home. It’s stunning and certainly takes your breath away.
Over its time, the estate has passed through many fascinating hands, including the Boleyn family - it's said that Anne Boleyn herself was born here, although there's no definitive proof.
Do you believe in ghosts?! Blickling is reportedly one of the National Trust's MOST HAUNTED properties! Apparently, Anne Boleyn returns each year on May 19th, (just 11 days away!), on the anniversary of her execution, in a rather macabre fashion - by carriage, carrying her decapitated head, driven by a headless horseman and four headless horses. Quite the sight if you believe in ghosts! I’ve yet to see it!
Have you visited Blickling Hall? If you
have, do you enjoy it as much as I do? If you haven’t yet visited, then you can discover more about this magnificent Jacobean house here. I promise you won't be disappointed!
This is what’s in store for you when you visit
Blickling Hall.
Best wishes,
Suzy
