Norfolk's Wildlife Reserves - Summer Nature Spotting July 25, 2025 |
Norfolk's Wildlife Reserves - Summer Nature Spotting Good morning, Hickling Broad, Norfolk's largest reed bed, is the perfect spot to see several swallowtail butterflies amongst the reeds, a very special and rare sight if you do see them. What I love about the Norfolk reserves is the diversity of insect life. From the electric blue damselflies at RSPB Strumpshaw Fen to the rare mining bees at NWT Cley Marshes, there's a whole miniature world waiting to be discovered. Don’t forget to take your binoculars and a magnifying glass - you'll be amazed at what you find! Read more to explore our comprehensive guide to Norfolk's nature reserves and you can then enjoy your own wildlife
adventure.
Best wishes,
