Ready to Explore? Your Complete Guide to the Walsingham Way Awaits

Good Morning,

Right on your doorstep in Norfolk is the (fairly) newly established 37 mile Walsingham Way pilgrimage route between Norwich and the village of Walsingham. This route gives you a chance to discover some ancient Norfolk history and explore some of its varying countryside.

And with that in mind, I’ve put together a comprehensive Walsingham Way Walking Guide for you independent souls who would like to walk this on your own terms! (I also have a Walsingham Way walking holiday package if you prefer someone to organise your walking holiday rather than doing it yourself!)

As you walk this ancient route, you’ll come across some incredibly beautiful medieval churches, flintstone villages, and peaceful river valleys (along the Wensum and Stiffkey rivers) that have welcomed walkers for centuries.

I recently walked this fascinating historic trail and really enjoyed putting together this detailed guide to help you experience all it has to offer. I discovered what it means to walk a pilgrimage route, and whether you’re drawn by history, culture, or simply the joy of walking through some lovely Norfolk countryside, the Walsingham Way walking guide promises an unforgettable journey tailored just for you.

Happy walking along the Walsingham Way

And I’d also like to thank you all for your continued support during the year with the website and these weekly (most of the time!) email newsletters and your comments and responses. It really is very much appreciated.

I wish you a very happy Christmas.

Best wishes

Suzy
