Good Afternoon,
One of the true highlights of April in Norfolk is the bluebell season, and there are few sights more beautiful than woodland floors covered in a carpet of purple blooms, in my opinion.
Foxley Wood, Norfolk’s largest ancient woodland, is one of the very best places to see them, with paths winding through incredible displays of bluebells – it really does take your breath away – it’s stunning.
No dogs allowed at Foxley Wood though – so be warned!
Blickling Hall is another favourite, where part of the historic parkland and woods provide another beautiful backdrop to the bluebells - best car park for this is Bucks Common.
It’s well worth timing your visit over the next few weeks, as the displays are fairly short lived, but very special.

Enjoy the spring colour!
