  • Your stay will be in the wonderful old 18th Century coaching inn in the middle of Sheringham and a 2 minute walk from the beach and promenade.

    Day 1

This is an 8 mile linear walk (12.8km). You catch the excellent coasthopper bus to the middle of Cromer and immediately head inland taking you to Felbrigg Hall* and the surrounding area and then up into the woodlands and heathlands overlooking Cromer, and eventually walking back into Sheringham via part of the Norfolk Coast Path and the highest point in Norfolk. You can make this walk longer by walking around more of the amazing grounds. You might like to stop for lunch in the café at Felbrigg Hall, or pick up a picnic in Cromer before you leave.

You can then enjoy an evening meal in either the pub in Sheringham or one of the many restaurant in the town.

    Day 2

This is an 9 mile (14.5km) circular walk. Our suggested itinerary for day 2 is a lovely circular walk which takes you along the coast, up onto the highest point in Norfolk (again, very briefly), past an ancient priory, through heathland and into the beautiful Sheringham Park, up into the Gazebo with far reaching views over the North Norfolk Coast and back along the Norfolk Coast Path and along the cliffs and the edge of Sheringham golf course back into Sheringham.

*There are set opening hours for Felbrigg Hall, and the price does not include entry into the house or the walled garden. During the winter months (Nov-middle of Feb) only the grounds are open but it still makes for an impressive walk!
